Oxyresveratrol is proven to be one of the most powerful and potent tyrosinase inhibitors in skincare.

Oxyresveratrol is a natural compound derived from the mulberry family. It is able to block the action of tyrosinase, to stop it from converting the amino acid tyrosine into melanin. It is also a potent antioxidant which helps to minimise free radical-induced production of melanin.

At high strengths oxyresveratrol is highly reactive and degrades quickly, losing its brightening power. Heat, UV and high pH's can all further enhance the degradation process.

The 1% oxyresveratrol is stored in a patented preserversation serum in the lid until it is plunged into the rest of the formula using Click-Activated packaging on the first use.
